The Anderson Anger Management model is the only curriculum that has been approved by the CA State Board of Corrections for training of Parole Agents, Probation Officers, and Correction Officers. It is currently being used by the Los Angeles District of the United States Postal Service and Los Angeles Airport Police Department for use in their Employee Assistance Programs to reduce interpersonal conflicts.
The Anderson Model is the most widely recognized curriculum in the world.
- On-going groups meet weekly for an hour
- Participants use a workbook
- Participation is mandatory for success
- Programs are specifically designed to meet the requirements of court or probation mandates

- Participants may join at any time as the programs are open-ended

- in listening and effective communication
- in emotional intelligence
- in stress management
- in improved self control
- in your ability to deal effectively with stress
- in your ability to deal effectively with strong emotions
- in your ability to deal effectively with your anger
- are confidential (what is said in session, stays there)
- are governed by Ground Rules
- are facilitated so they stay on task
- enable participants to practice skills
- enable fellow participants to coach each other
- include variety – discussion, workbook exercises, video and real life case studies
